TRANSCRIBED INTERVIEW - audio on cassette, no video Interviewers: Janice Martin and Bob White Interview Date: August 17, 1988 Edna started working at the Rosamond mill when she was fifteen years old as a winder. In the interview, she talked about wages and how a spooler would make bobbins and the job position of a bobbin boy. She gave an overview of the warp room and the spinning room. She described a typical workday and talked about a bell that would toll which would divide the day. Her grandfather and mother both worked as winders. Edna described working during the Depression and the Second World War and the types of fabrics that were made during this time, as well as her work environment. She also talked about her home life and community life. No video recording available, recorded on cassette. Interviewers: Barb White and Janice Martin Conducted August 17, 1988
