Framed tapestry industrial made. Titled Souvenir du Village Suisse. Provided with the piece is a small translated write up: The head of the family, father Grieder, founded it in 1889. Grieder was, in a way, the window to the oriental silk producers of Switzerland. The Parisian couturiers are again going to stock up over there. The name Grieder had such value in Zurich and in Gernamn Switzerland that it was besides supported everywhere. The stores are called Good Genius in French-speaking Switzerland and Grieder in the German part of Switzerland.
