VIDEO INTERVIEW - video found Interviewer: Roberta Murant Interview Date: July 23, 2013 Bernard started working at the mill at sixteen years old as a picker and described the machine he worked on. He talked about synthetic fibres and worked on the dry line which he explained what it entailed. He cleaned the machines frequently and explained tufting weaving. He discussed wages and the union and how the mill would fabricate stock on demand based on advanced orders. He discussed the decline of the mills and Archie Rosamond. He sits on the museum board, talked about the establishment of the museum, and mill culture. In the interview, he brought a blanket made of repurposed scraps of fabric to show its colours.
