Description

This quilt uses red and white material to depict various scenes from the town of Almonte in its panels. This was created by the Almonte Crazy Quilters. Quilters include: Betty Barrie, Margaret Coady, Margaret Donato, Marie Dunn, Mimi Edmondson, Marian Elgood, Dianne Gale, Helen Halpenny, Natasha Hallbach, Diana Hughes, Phyllis Kendall, Jean Kiziun, Mary Lawson, Kay Lewis, Lois Ridgen, Pauline Rorwick, Margaret Spriggs, Anne Tokaruk, and Anne Wheatley NOTE: no signed accession agreement was signed between this group and the MVTM Currently on display at the Orchard View by the Mississippi. Given to Sue Turner's custody on February 19, 2019 to have her set up the display. Label *not* made to affix next to the quilt as it is unclear at this time who owns the quilt between the ACQ and the MVTM.
