TRANSCRIBED VIDEO INTERVIEW - video found Interviewer: Marilyn Snedden Interview Date: July 31, 2013 Jim talked about the fire of Hartley Woolen mill where his father worked in 1965, and the Collie Mill. Jim worked at the Collie Mill from 1957 to 1969. At the Rosamond Mill, Jim worked as a doffer with spinners. He talked about the spinning mule, efficiency experts, and the union. He quit the mill because of a system change and many members of his family worked at the mills. He also talked about community life.
