TRANSCRIBED INTERVIEW - no recording available Interviewer: Kathy Priddle Interview Date: July 26, 2013 Jean Moore worked at the Rosamond Mill when she was 17 in 1947. In her interview she explains how she was hired at the mill and what she did. She worked on the spinning machine when she started and explains what she did and where she was in the line of production and what a regualar work day looked like for her. She also talks about the differenent people and personalities she worked with. She talks about the working conditions of the mill and what it was like on the inside. She talks about what they did for fun including dances, and the Almonte Fair, where they went for food and drinks and how much things cost. File may be mislabelled as Jean "More" old text Rosamond 1947- Jean started at the mill at 17 years old as a spinner. She explained twisters, bobbin boy, and the shift work.
