Robert started working in the dye house of the Rosamond Mill at 12 years old in 1966. He talked about acrylic fibers, colour mixing, and how the leftover dye would be dumped into the river. He talked about the heat of the environment, layoffs, shift work, wages, community life, and mill fires. He talks about the people he worked with such as Ed McCabe.
He also talks about how the town has changed since the 1960s what people did for fun and where they went for food and drinks at the time.Collection
