The origional enveliope packed a reprot about the next book of the month.
No postage, but there are some ink stamps at the top left hand corner. On saying New York, N.Y
Reverse of the envelope says waht it actually contains. Handwritten in pencil it reads. "Electric Drive of Textile Machinery"
"Manchester C. of Tech, 3rd Year Higher 1947/48"
Contents of the Envelope; 50 folded pages all one sided with handwritten notes throughout containing lists, numbers, equations, graphs and diagrams.
Reverse of pages are either blank or typed in Polish. The Polish seems to describe administrative procedures for the Polish Free Army in England during the Second World War.Collection
