Letter to Rosamond boy from Adam Swail in 1912 applying for a job in the disigning department of Rosamond Woolen Co.

Dear Sir,
I learn from Sir W Davis of Hawick that there is a vacant post in the descgaing department of the Rosamond Wool. Coy. In sending you this application for the position I may say that I am twenty - two years of age. I served my apprentice - ship with the firm of R & R Sauderson,

The dissecting, [the next two words are crossed] and formation of single, double, and treble cloths. I have also a good understanding of yarn calculations etc. I think Sir Davis said that the salary was something like 10 or 12$ a week. I would not care to come out for less than 15$. However if my application receives your consideration that is a matter that can be arranged.
