in reply to yours of recent date, find enclosed book of particulars, telling how and what we teach, also system and first lesson which teaches how to take measures and make a perfect fitting waist and sleeve lining. This you must learn before even a shirt waist, because we use system set to perfect measures of person you are cutting for, to make patterns of all outer goods, of waists, skirts, coats, etc.
The under part of sleeve lining is cut by same piece as upper. .
see large sleeve draft. Rule is piece used for cutting all styles of skirts and is taught in seventh lesson. Measures for the height of darts are taken from waist line to just below bust
To more thoroughly advertise our course we are giving this $15.00 cash System and full course for $5.00 cash. If satisfactory send $5.00 no later than one week after receiving System. Upon receiving $5.00 we will send full course of lessons, (you may take
as long as you wish to study lessons.) If not satisfied return parcel registered to our address in as good condition as when received one week after receiving.
All taking advantage of this cheap rate are requested to send with $6.00 from six to twelve names and addresses of those who are learning dressmaking in shops, or friends they think might take a course, so we can send them our book of particulars only. but if you object to do this we
