Signed Dec. 22, 1917. No stamp on this certificate. Black and red handwriting; printed in black. Transcription : CANADIAN OVERSEASE EXPEDITIONARY FORCES Dicharge Certificate This is to Certify that No 727845 (Rank) Private (Name in full) Rosamond - William -McDonell - Enlisted in 110th [Derrsias] Battalion --- Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force, On the Sixth of January 1916 ; and accompanied said unit to England was returned to Canada and discharged from the service at Quebec PD - On the Fourteenth of October 1917 in Consequence of being Over military Age. Description on Discharge Age 48yrs Height 5 feet 10 inches Complextion Fiar Eyes Blue Hair Brown and Grey Trade Construction Engineer Signature of man Wm Rosamond Marks or scars Two vaccination marks on left arm.
