Scope and Content

Left edge has been torn out of a receipt book and both left and right bottom corners have been bent. the paper has been folded into thirds langthwise and half widthwise. There are some pin marks in the bottom right corner. Most of the ink on the paper was smudged, likely when it was folded, and so there are black smears all across the paper. The receipt seems to say : 29th May, 1901. Received from John Fulton 5.00$. I cannot read the signature.
