Description

Glass plate of a woman working on a mechanical loom in a factory. Woman is wearing a long skirt, sweater and apron with her hair pulled up. Most likely from b/w 1860-1900s. Alot of machinery can be seen in the background. Likely a lantern slide, as the image is positive and the manufacturer was well-known for these slides, along with stereographic images. Made by the Keystone View Company Factories, Meadville. Pa Title on back: Weaving the Linen Fabric - Linen Industry Canada
