Know all men by these presents that I John Turnbull Bookkeeper
of Montreal do make constitute and appoint Bennet Rosamond Esq
lawful Attorney, for me in my name and on my behalf to accept all such trans-
fers as are, or may hereafter be made unto me of any Interest stock in the Capital or Joint Stock of [THE MERCHANTS" BANK OF CANADA, has been crossed out]
The Rosamond Woolen Coy, and generally do all lawful acts requisite for effecting the premises : hereby ratifying and confirming all that he my said Attorney shall do therein by virtue hereof.
