Transcription of artifact is as follows:
Height of dam.
The top of dam should be the same height as the old dam at iron bridge - less the amount necessary to allow for the flow of water. If made exactly same height the effect could be to make the water at old dam higher than normal.

Height of bridge - Make the floor of bridge little if any higher than floor of the old one. Not more than nine inches higher at the outside.
Concrete work. Take particular note of this to see that a good solid job is made.
