Dear Mr. Pragnell:
On behalf of the people of Lanark County, my family and 1 would like to congratulate you for receiving the Volunteer Services Award in Ottawa on Sunday May 4th, 1986.
This award recognizes the outstanding volunteer work you have performed in the past. I would like to send my personal "thank you" because 1 realize that to accomplish these tasks you must spend much time away from your family and friends.
I am sorry that because of a prior commitment I was unable to join you in Ottawa, but 1 commend you again on a job well done.
