With references to the prepared purchases by the Public Utilities Commission of a part of the upper part of the Lower Slide property from the Yorkshire Wool Stock Co. I oneless(sic) herewith cheque of the commission for $325. Pursuant to our phone conversation this morning. This money represents the purchase price of the property mentioned in the description prepared by J. M. Moore, C. E. a few days ago now in your possession and also shown on a plan dated Oct. 11th, 1930, which accompanies same, also the pier and land on which same rests shown said plan being situate at the south East side and adjoining the part mentioned in that description. This is subject to the right of the Yorkshire Co. to put logs in the side of the pier as at present closing up the mouth of the slide. I understand that Moore's plan and descriuption are to be returned to him and he is to amend same to cover the pier and when that is done and incorporated in a deed that your client will deliver same immediately. My clients are anxious to proceed with the dam immediately and I would be glad to have a letter from you stating that the above is as you understand the bargain and that it will be satisfactory for my clients to proceed with their work today.
Yours truly,
Encl.
