Land deed for Almonte.
Transcription:
ALL AND SINGULAR that contain parcel or tract of land and premises situate lying and being
in the Town of Almonte in the County of Lanark and Province of Ontario and being composed
part of the Past Half of Lot Fifteen in the Ninth Concession of the Township of Ramsey and
containing by admeasurement 9/100 acres be the same more or less and which said parcel or tract
of land may be more particularly described as follows:-
Commencing at the intersection of the Westerly limit of Little Stone Bridge Street with
the Southerly limit of Main Street as shown on plan prepared by E. T. Wilkie, Esq., Ontario Land
Surveyor, dated December 1 st , 1893, and of record in the Registry Office for the North Riding of
the County of Lanark as Number 6262; thence Southerly along the Westerly limit of Little Stone
Bridge Street 76.2 feet more or less to the centre of the South Channel of the Mississippi River
thence Westerly with the stream along the centre line of same 89 feet more or less to the
intersection with the Southerly limit of Main Street; thence North Easterly along the Southerly
limit of Main Street 88 feet more or less to the place of beginning.
