The email is a brief celebratory note regarding the opening of the 2003 exhibition: The Gwich’in Traditional Caribou Skin Clothing Project. Ingrid kritch was the Research Director of the Gwich'in Social and Cultural Institute (Yellowknife, NWT) at the time of writing. She and Dorothy Burnham worked closely together throughout the late 1980s and early 2000s.
This project was completed in association with Dorothy Burnham's "Caribou"(book/exhibit) work in the late 1980s. The Gwich'in exhibit was hosted by the Gwich’in Social and Cultural Institute and the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre, located in Yellowknife, NWT. The curator was Judy Thompson.Collection
