Description

Metal Sucrets lozenges tin, found in the pocket of 2021.07.07.04 (RCAF uniform jacket). Tin measures 3 1/4" long x 2 1/2" wide x 3/4" high. It contains the following objects: a-g: 7 large brass uniform buttons with eagle and crown, measuring 1" in diameter. h-m: 6 smaller brass uniform buttons with eagle and crown, measuring 3/4" in diameter. (same design as a-g) n: 1 brass uniform button with eagle and crown, measuring 3/4" in diameter, with brass clip. o: 2 brass uniform buttons with eagle and crown, meausring 1/2" in diameter, joined by two silver-coloured metal rings. (same design as n) p: 1 brass button with heraldic crest, measuring 5/8" in diameter. q: 1 silver-coloured button, measuring 3/4" in diameter. Has crown in centre, with words 'truth - duty - valour' and 'Canjadian Services Colleges' surrounding it. Back is marked 'Wm. Scully Ltd, Montreal.' r: Metal collar pin featuring the symbol of the Communications and Electronics Branch: a nude Mercury in silver with two gold lightning bolts (also known as a 'Jimmy'), facing RIGHT. Has two prongs but no pin-backs. Measures 1" high. s: Metal collar pin featuring the symbol of the Communications and Electronics Branch: a nude Mercury in silver with two gold lightning bolts (also known as a 'Jimmy'), facing LEFT. Has two prongs with two pin-backs. Measures 1" high.
