This double cloth coverlet is very different in style from the others in the Mills Coverlet Collection. Mills' notes state it appears to have a central European aesthetic. It has an intricate geometric pattern with floral motifs along the centre seam. Mills states it appears that it was modified by its owners who disassembled, cut it down, and sewed it back together with the decorated border placed at the centre. It has a strong yellow ground with a rust brown wool weft.Collection
