Dorothy Burnham's travel/research diary, titled "1983 First sumer of Doukhobor field work Mainly Castlegar". Castlegar is in British Columbia. Approx 300 pages, and the last half left blank. Double-sided and handwritten entries mention names of museum professionals, such as Pete Swetzikoff, Jim Robinson (curator of Bondary Museum at the time?), and Jim Popoff. The dirary includes clippings of maps, menus, postcards, and photographs: -Small business card of a hotel glued onto page -Examples (2) of daily financial and accounting lists that Dorothy made during her travels (daily expenses, etc.) -Clipping of a menu -Photograph (1), glued onto page, likely in British Columbia, 1983. -Map clipping (1) stapled onto page of section of Kootenay region in British Columbia
