Description

Teal/blue metal document box with brass/bronze handle. Historically contained documents related to the Rosamond Woolen Co., including land deeds and building contracts between Jas. Rosamond Sr. and his sons. Was on display for many years in the wool hall but was not provided with an accession number until 2023. Very likely the document box that housed the 2013.57 archival donation by Michael Dunn. This box is aprox. 12 inches long by 6.5 inches wide and 5.5 inches deep. The material thickness is aprox. 2-3 mm. The material is consisten with no sign of painting to attribute to its colour. The metal is a grey/teal colour.
