Machine belonged to James Savage, who was an Almonte Town Councilman, a Board of Education Member, and Registrar of Deeds for North Lanark. Black machine with white keys. Contains a piece of paper and a pencil. Label on front reads "Manufactured by the Oliver Typewriter Co. Chicago U.S.A. Keep machine cleaned and oiled."
