Description

Chinese lady's beaded headband featuring a distinctive V-shaped form with two elongated, curved panels densely embellished with multicolored glass seed beads. The turquoise blue ground is decorated with intricate floral and scrolling vine motifs in shades of pink, coral, yellow, green, white, and cobalt blue. Each panel features a central pale gray-green field with stylized flowers, butterflies, and geometric designs, outlined in white beading. The symmetrical panels taper to a central point and are finished with dark fabric edging and a twisted red cord fastening at one end. A finely detailed example of traditional Chinese decorative headwear.
