Description

Traditional Chinese baby’s textile headband fashioned as a stylized animal face, richly decorated with colorful silk embroidery, appliqué, and dimensional details. The dark ground is accented with floral-embroidered panels, a raised green nose, red mouth with applied teeth and tongue, and long cream-colored fiber whiskers. Designed as decorative children’s headwear, the expressive animal imagery was traditionally associated with protection, vitality, and good fortune.
