Remains of Santa Fe Hotel about 3-3 1/2 miles from mouth of Diamond Creek. This was the first site from which the public could view the Grand Canyon. Santa Fe passengers desiring to see the Grand Canyon detrained at Peach Springs, traveled by horse or wagon down Peach Springs Canyon, stayed at this hotel, and then back up Peach Springs Canyon. There was a fair auto road into this site for a number of years. Signs read "Addams, John, Fowler & Lord". (John Osterman pictured at right.) Also known as Farlee Hotel.Collection
