Panoramic photo of future site of Hoover/Boulder Dam on the Colorado River at Black Canyon. Photograph is by N. E. Johnson who was based in Los Angeles, California. Local entrepeneur Al Jagerson, who had traversed the Black Canyon waterway often in the 1920's and probably was guide and transportation for the photographer, also contracted to transport drilling crews by boat to the Dam Site during construction in the early 1930's.
