Scope and Content

The Nancy collection contains newsletters, advent booklets, annual reports, a yearbook, photographs, cards, and newspaper clippings primarily by and about Montauk Community Church. Additional materials include publications from St. Therese of Lisieux; illustrated Christmas cards from Frank & Barbara Borth; documentation of sculptural moments by Suse Lowenstein; clippings about the 1938 Hurricane; and papers from the Montauk Fire Department. Photographs capture Montauk Community Church events, services, dinners, and construction at the church, the village green, local restaurants, and the beach. The photographs date from 1997-2002. Many people and events are unidentified.
