Scope and Content

A collection of 17 digitized photographs, postcards, and a reproduction of the 1934 Montauk Public School grade commencement program. The photographs depict Perry B. Duryea, Jr. as a child, his father Perry B. Duryea, Sr., ice harvesting on Tuthill Pond, and unidentified men at a firing range. Ten of the photographs are color aerial views of Montauk Airport. Postcards include a World War II "Doughboy" and an image of the Fishing Village on Fort Pond Bay. The collection is undated but it is estimated the materials range from 1912 to 1990s.
