Scope and Content

Peg Winski's digital collection includes photographs of the Montauk School's class portraits from the 1930s and the activities of Montauk's chapter of the American Women's Voluntary Services (AWVS) during World War II. The AWVS are pictured hosting blood drives, learning how to change a car tire, and packing gifts. Photographs from the Montauk School include group portraits of the girls' basketball team circa the 1930s.
