Scope and Content

A collection of eight photographs and one document relating to buildings constructed during the Carl Fisher era including the Montauk Manor, Indoor Tennis Auditorium, and the Montauk Yacht Club. Residential buildings include Carl Fisher's home and the McCaffray/Rheinstein windmill house. The Morris Studio, Southampton, and William Boone Studios, East Hampton, took the photographs during the 1940s.
