Description

Clear etched glass bottle with metal top with lever and spout used to dispense soda water. Decorative etching reads "William Miller / Montpelier / Vt. / Registered."

Context

William Miller operated Miller's Inn at 118 Main Street, Montpelier, from 1883 until his death in 1915. According to his obituary, "In connection with his hotel he carried on a bottling business, his soda waters being sent to towns through central Vermont."
