"Descent from the Cross" or "Lamentation over the Body of Christ" Mary holds Christ's head and Mary Magdalene kisses his wounded feet. On the ground lay the wreath of thorns, the nails from the cross, and the sign "INRI". The sun is setting and the city of city of Jerusalem is in the distance.
