Coast Guard 69002. Information from Humanities Accession Sheets: "This ship, the HIGH TIDE, was built in 1941 by Grebe of Chicago for Harry Grant, owner of the Milw. Journal. It was launched, May 1, 1941. It was in the U.S. Coast Guard Submarine Service, 1942-45, and was restored to Harry Grant after its war service, in 1945. Mr. Grant operated the ship in Florida waters til 1963."
