Hugh Cabot along with Joe Epes Brown an professor of comparative religion were especially invited to attend the annual Buffalo dances and Sun Dances (for the second time) last fall.
Hugh, to record the faces, the costuming, the people of the Northern Cheyenne and Prof. Brown to tape and write of the ceremonies.
This is a finished charcoal of Harold Red Fox, with his ceremonial Buffalo headdress with the ermine tails attached. The headdress belonged to his grandfather.
Hugh has also created a bronze "The Buffalo Dancer" which is now being cast.
