2024 post:
Throughout 2024, we're looking back at the 100 year history of art at the Mulvane. This late-1930s print by Fred Becker is a lively, stylized depiction of musicians performing at a clambake party. "Clambake," like several of the works we've highlighted over the last few weeks, came into the collection as part of a gift from the Works Progress Administration Federal Art Project.
