""Dunes" was taken in late spring of 1993 at the Great Sand Dunes National Park, just north of Fort Garland, Colorado. The day had been overcast with intermittent showers. Just before 5p.m. the sun broke through the clouds for a few brief moments creating the dramatic light. A Hasselblad camera with an 80mm planer lens was used to capture the moment. This is a medium format camera which uses 120 size film, creating a 2 1/4" square negative."
