2024 post:
Throughout 2024, we're looking back at the 100 year history of art at the Mulvane. This print was created in 1928 by Frank Peers, an artist born in Topeka. He first worked in medicine, serving in the Harvard Ambulance Corps during WWI. After the war, he decided to focus on art and traveled to France to develop his practice. He later moved to New York City and became a successful book illustrator for Macmillan Publishing Company.
