ABOUT THE DOMINION MINIATURE RIFLE LEAGUE (PART OF DCRA)
The Mini Rifle League is a competitive shooting sport discipline that uses .22 Long Rifle (LR) rifles, typically at indoor ranges of 100 yards (91 m) or shorter and is part of the broader category of smallbore rifle shooting. It is popular in Canada, the UK, Commonwealth countries, and in the US, and is often contrasted with full-bore rifle shooting, which uses larger calibers and is almost always conducted outdoors. Matches are held at designated shooting ranges, often during national rifle meetings such as the National Shooting Centre (Bisley) or other approved venues NRA.
Firearm class: Competitors use .22LR rifles, which can be standard or custom-built, with a variety of sighting systems — most commonly red-dot sights — and ancillary equipment NRA.
Scoring: Each match is scored out of 100, with the best 7 scores from a set number of rounds (e.g., 5 rounds, best 3 to count) used to determine league standings NRA.
League structure: The NRA Mini Rifle League was/is a points-based competition where participants earn points for each match, and the top scorers are ranked. The league table was updated after each roundCreated By
