Description

1995 - Changing The Guard / La Rleve de la Garde - By The Band of The Ceremonial Guard produced by The Governor General’s FootGuards Foundation (1997) The last official commercially produced (and perhaps ever) physical music album by a group of CGG and GGFG Musicians in the format of a compact disc. Most Grenadiers will be familiar with the existance of Vinyl record albums recorded by the CGG band between the 1930’s up to the 1964. However few may know that the Ceremonial Guard Band produced a music CD featuring both CGG and GGFG musicians and was recording in 1995. Given today’s technology, it is most likely that any future recordings will be digitalized and only available for download through music apps like spotify.
