2025 - CGG Colour Sergeant (Late Lieutenant) Stephen Burgess (1952-2025) who passed away on 27 January 2025
On January 27, 2025 our Regiment lost a Dear Friend, Mentor to Many and a Leader of The Regimental Family! Serving in the Regiment joining in 1970 as a Guardsman, taking his Commission in 1975 when he joined the 8th Canadian Hussars (Princess Louise’s). Stephen was one of many to serve overseas in Germany. A pillar of Strength throughout the daily life of the Regimental Family. The long time President of the Ottawa Chapter of the Association who kept it extremely active until the reigns were turned over to today's National Association, Member of the Regimental Council and strong support of the Mission of the Foundation. All Grenadiers could always count on Stephen when needed.
He will greatly be missed by all those who knew him!
Those who benefitted by his wisdom and support.Created By
