Captain Manuel Panchana-Moya - Former Canadian Grenadier Guard injured in IED Blast on December 12th, 2005 90 kilometres outside Kandahar, Afghanistan. Injured in the blast were Panchana-Moya, Private Ryan Crawford, Private Russell Murdock and Tim Albone, an embedded British journalist. The armour fitted to the vehicle saved their lives.
