Nguyen Hung Cuong is one of the leading figures of the new generation of Vietnamese origami artists focused on hyper-complex folding. He was born in 1989 in Hanoi and has found joy in transforming a single sheet of paper into anything his imagination inspires, using only folds. He pays close attention not only to anatomical proportions but also to elegance and the experience of interacting with the paper. In 2005, he co-founded the Vietnam Origami Group with friends, and in the years that followed, they published several origami books. Cuong has been invited to conventions and has exhibited his work in galleries and museums around the world.
