Cash Register G.H. Gledhill and Sons, Halifax, England Early 1900s G.H. Gledhill developed his automatic cash till and cash dispenser while running a millinery business. He opened G.H. Gledhill and Sons with his three sons in order to produce his inventions. This cash register features an internal captive roll of paper for receipts as well as an adding register.
