Label Attacher Chauncy Wing’s Sons, Greenfield, MA Introduced 1898 This label attacher was originally marketed as the Horton-Wing Mailer and was designed by Chauncey Wing and James Horton as a way to quickly label newspapers for delivery. The label attacher applies adhesive, cuts the label, and then sticks it to the surface in one simple motion.
