Army Tank 1956 & Re-Released in 1971 Revell Inc., Bunde, Germany. This M-4 Sherman “Black Magic” tank was part of a family of armored vehicles and originally came with three figures: a commander and two infantry men. Hand assembles with each plastic part identified by a number and includes pieces that need to be cemented together. Founder of Revell Inc., Lewis H. Glaser had the “idea to build a true to scale car out of several plastic parts” in the 1940s and gave birth to the plastic model kits. The M-4 Sherman tank was first released in 1956 along with other military vehicles. However, these military vehicles never truly gained popularity, and oftentimes would disappear and then reappear over several years.

General Notes

Note

This kit was re-released in 1971, and this could be that era also.
