Television Receiver Motorola, Schaumburg, IL 1940s & 1950s This Motorola “Golden View” was among the most popular small televisions during its production run. They were originally sold for less than $200, making them one of the less expensive small televisions of the time. The portable, as opposed to tabletop, version of this television came with a leatherette case that included storage for the rabbit-ear antenna that came with the television.
