This device was designed to pass an electrical current through the body as a method of curing a variety of ailments including weight gain, varicose veins, rheumatism, and gout. A damp sponge would be placed on the wand and the patient would stand on the metal, foot-shaped plates, to allow the current to pass through the body. Some iterations included attachments for violet ray and ozone treatments.
