Note

The virboplex morse code key used a spring and weight system to rapidly open and close the contacts without the user moving the key. This was used to rapidly produce the "dit" (short) sounds and the user would push further and hold to produce the "dah" (long) sounds. The weight would be adjusted so the dit speed would match the user's overall speed of sending.
